She expressed disbelief at the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl but eagerly accepted. Williams said that her Olympic dance would eventually pay off. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, chimed in on X, noting how Serena faced criticism for that same dance years ago at Wimbledon, highlighting the significance of her current performance. Although Williams hails from Compton and had a brief relationship with Drake, fans have long tried to connect his lyrics to her. A clear instance was in 2022 when Drake mentioned her in his song "Middle of the Ocean."
