9th Court Upholds Convictions

The 9th Court of Appeals ha upheld the convictions to two guilty in the starvation death of a 4 year old boy. Tina Louise Louis of Franklin, Louisiana and Jaylin Jevon Lewis, Port Arthur were both convicted in the death of 4 year old King Dewey. The child was found locked in a closet and later died. Tina Louis is serving a 60 year sentence. Jaylin Lewis a 50 year sentence. A third defendant, Kirsten Louis is serving a 30 year sentence after pleading guilty.
