Early voting for the special election in Port Neches is underway. Place 5 Councilman Terry Schwertner and former Place 4 Councilman Robert Arnold are running for mayor to fill the unexpired term of Mayor Glen Johnson who recently passed away. Also on the ballot in to replace Armold in Place 4. The two candidates are former Chief of Police Paul Lamoine and Trace Hammond. Early voting continues through next Tuesday. Special election day is December 13th.
