Rolling Loud has joined the efforts to help the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires by raising thousands of dollars from their homegrown pop-up show.

On Monday night, January 20, Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler hosted the California Wildfire Benefit Concert at Kemistry Nightclub in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Robb Banks, DJ Scheme, 1900Rugrat, C Stunna, Jay Critch, Luh Tyler, Danny Towers, Pouya and headliner Ski Mask The Slump God hit the stage to perform for a packed crowd. The event was announced last Friday and sold out within a few days. The world's biggest Hip-Hop festival racked up $25,000 in ticket sales, which went directly to the L.A. Wildfires Relief Fund.

The event was held a couple of weeks after the wildfires broke out in Los Angeles county. City officials have reported billions of dollars in damages while thousands of people lost their homes including celebrities like Jhené Aiko, Madlib, Keyshia Cole and others. During the show, DJ Scheme said that several of his friends' homes and some of his favorite studios were burned down in the fires.

"L.A. is a very special place to us," Scheme said onstage. "I know we from Florida, most of us, but a lot of tragedies happened out in L.A. All this money you guys help us out together goes towards that. I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart thank you guys for showing up and doing this."

Rolling Loud will continue to assist the victims of the wildfires as its next event quickly approaches. The festival announced tickets for Rolling Loud California will go on sale this Thursday, January 23, at 12 p.m. PST/3 p.m. EST. A portion of the sales will go directly toward the relief efforts. In addition, Rolling Loud will also host a Loud Aid livestream benefit show to raise money for GoFundMe's wildfire relief fund. The festival is also selling a "Rebuild L.A." t-shirt that will help benefit the incarcerated firefighters.
