Denzel Curry has a special place in his heart for the citizens of Los Angeles because he's doing all he can to raise money and collect supplies for all those affected by the wildfires.

After spending the weekend collecting donations, the Miami-based rapper took to Instagram on Monday, January 13, and called on all those with powerful platforms to assist in the efforts to provide aid. In his post, Curry asked for monetary donations to help buy necessary supplies for victims and first responders. He also requested people not affected by the fires to lend a hand and encouraged others to spread the word about the mission.

Curry was one of the first rap artists to take action after the wildfires broke out last week. He launched an emergency supply drive with Renzo Gracie Los Angeles last Saturday and requested items like water, food, blankets, clothing, and other necessities for the victims. The donation drive moved to Jim and James restaurant where they collected more supplies for the rest of the weekend. The restaurant is still accepting all sorts of donations. You can find out more about their efforts here.

Denzel Curry is one of several celebrities who have stepped up to help the victims of the wildfires. The Game has been on the grounds since he and his family were evacuated from their home. The Compton native immediately began rallying for donations and even helped detail firetrucks for firefighters last week. He also helped pet owners reunite with their animals after they were lost during the evacuations. Meanwhile, superstars like Beyoncé, The Weeknd, and more have pledged to assist the victims of the tragic natural disaster.
