A Beaumont woman has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury for intoxication
manslaughter. 56-year old Beatrice Bean is accused of the August 9th death of Gary Lynn
Darkin. Detectives say Bean drove her car into a carwash at Washington Avenue and Avenue
B and struck Darkin, who died at the scene.
