Expired Vehicle Registration Extended

The state of Texas is extending the date for drivers to renew their expired vehicle registrations. The extension comes as part of the COVID-19 relief considerations due to shutdowns and other restrictions that have kept people home. The extension lasts nine months beyond the expiration date. However, drivers still have to apply to get a new sticker that says 2021 on it. It's possible to renew in H-E-B and Fiesta Mart stores as well as on Texas-dot-Gov's homepage.
