The Liberty County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for a man suspected of killing a woman
and sexually assaulting another. Deputies responded Saturday evening to a 911 call from a
woman who said she was chained to a bed and her friend had been killed in a car outside the
home. On arrival at the home in north Liberty County, deputies found a body inside a burned
car, and the bound woman inside the house. The home's resident is 59-year-old Jose Soriano,
who employed the women as house cleaners. Deputies are now looking for Soriano.
