Friday at the pump shows gas prices in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area are down two pennies
from last week. This morning’s average price is $2.22 a gallon. The statewide average dropped
four cents to $2.21 a gallon. This morning’s national average for a gallon of gas is $2.53, which
is down three cents from last week. These averages are from Triple A Texas.
