A woman is hospitalized and a man jailed following a shooting in Port Arthur. The shooting
occurred last night at the Louis Manor Apartment Complex in the 1300 block of Joe Louis
Avenue. The 35-year old woman was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital with a
non-life threatening gunshot wound. The 32-year old suspect was located and taken to jail.
He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
