A Beaumont business man was arrested earlier this week in Tyler County for a warrant out of
Louisiana. Larry Tillery Sr. is accused of writing a bad check for more than $300,000 at a Lake
Charles casino. Tillery was released from the Tyler County Jail yesterday. He will not be
extradited to Louisiana to face the charges against him in Calcasieu Parish. Tillery is under a
federal gambling investigation after federal authorities raided his business, Daylight Motors, in
Beaumont in 2017.
