Three Arrested For Murder, One Arrested For Tampering

A total of four arrests have been made in connection with last week’s shooting death of Anthony

Wilson in the 6800 block of Madrid in west Beaumont. 17-year old Jamirious Jamtrel Gardner,

18-year old John James Cook, and a 15-year juvenile are all charged with murder. A 4th suspect,

26-year old Bernard Bell, a brother of one of the suspects, is charge with tampering with

evidence. He claimed his innocence while being walked out of the police department.

Beaumont police officer Hailey Morrow says hard work by detectives and overwhelming

response from the community help lead to the arrests. Gardner, Cook, and Bernard Bell were transported to the

Jefferson County Jail. The juvenile was taken to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center.
