Port Arthur police report a 6-year old boy died yesterday afternoon in an accident involving
a lawnmower on 63rd Street in Port Acres. The boy was riding on the lap of his father on a
riding mower and fell off. He was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
where he died. The incident is under investigation.
