A Jefferson County jury has convicted and sentenced a woman on two counts of sexually
assaulting a 35-year old woman. The assault occurred at a house party in July of 2016. Following
the conviction, Rachel Marie Green was placed three years probation for each count. She was
also fined $10,000. She could of received up to 20 years. Green must register as a sex offender
for the rest of her life.
