Port Neches police report a 2 ½ year old boy that was pulled from an above ground swimming
pool in the 2500 block of 15th Street Sunday evening has died. The child was initially transported
to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont before being transported to Texas Children’s
Hospital. He passed away yesterday. The child was with other children in the pool. Adults at
the scene began life saving efforts until EMS arrived.
