The president of the Board of Directors for the Beaumont Independent School District has
resigned. Joe Domino made the announcement at last night’s meeting. His resignation is
effective August 16th. He served four years on the board. His replacement will be approved
by the Texas Education Agency. The board of trustees was appointed by the TEA after the
previous board was removed by then TEA Commissioner Michael Williams.
