Vidor police have released the name of a man that was shot and killed Tuesday night. Captain
Rodney Johnson says 47-year old Jason McLain was shot and a carwash in the 100 block of
Alamo. The shooter claims McLain was involved in an argument with a woman and when
approached them, McLain charged him and that is when he shot McLain The shooter is
cooperating with police. An arrest has not been made at this time.
